Our Video Management Software (VMS) allows our customers to integrate with their chosen security analytics software to help manage the incident analysis. For example, iSentry facilitates black screen technology viewing whereby control room monitors are delivered 9-second clips of live footage that is based on an alert of unusual behaviour.

What happens when an unusual event alert is received?

Once assessed the controller can either dismiss the feed or escalate and send a reaction vehicle to investigate further. Should the alert be dismissed the screen goes black again until the next alert. iSentry stats show that less than 1% of all footage is even viewed and there is a higher likelihood of preventing a crime or helping someone in need.

In a nutshell, our client will be alerted only when something out of the ordinary takes place, according to configuration and learned behaviour and only then will it be viewed The footage collected is stored for 30 days. Thereafter it is deleted.
